The protagonist, a 15-year-old girl who has been working as a waitress for ten years, struggles with her financial struggles and her fiancé’s abrupt ending. She is caught up in her whirlwind, as she is over twice her age and the largest employer in the region. Despite her efforts, she is not allowed to take care of her, and she is not allowed to leave her alone.

As the largest employer in the region and owner of Berenson Trucking, the protagonist keeps her distance from her, watching her nightly from her truck. However, when someone starts targeting them and vandalizing their home, they discover that they are not the only ones watching her from the shadows. The protagonist decides to protect her better than anyone else, even if it means going to prison.

Castaway Whirlwind is the third book in the Big Boys of Berenson Trucking series, a full-length, spicy, age-gap romance. The author’s note at the beginning of the book ensures a happy ending.
